Located in the charming village of Bloomfield, this three bedroom suite at Hilltop House will provide a central location for your holiday adventures and is within 12 minutes of the Sandbanks Provincial Park. This cottage accommodates a maximum of 6 persons (local by-law 4518-2019). Cleaning and linens are NOT included but can be added for a fee. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SPACE AND AMENITIES:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: For your safety we suggest that all guests bring their own blankets and pillows for their own protection. We have also implemented a $25.00 COVID-19 disinfecting fee. 

  • Accommodates a maximum of 6 persons (local by-law 4518-2019)
  • Please note that this is a two-storey duplex-ed century home with bedrooms on the second level and it is not suitable for persons with mobility issues. (The friendly host lives on the other side.)
  • LINENS & CLEANING ARE NOT INCLUDED, but can be added for the following fees (sheets 17.00/set; towels 8.50/set; cleaning 70.00). Before checkout, ALL guests are expected to do their dishes, remove all food, take out the garbage/recycling, move items back to original spots, and to leave the cottage tidy
  • Pillows and blankets are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap, garbage/recycling bags, and BBQ propane are supplied
  • ONE beach pass is included for use during your stay
  • Guests are expected to bring their own personal supplies such as bath soap and shampoo
  • Drinking Water: The water supply is municipally treated so it should be safe for drinking
  • Features Available: Wi-Fi, TV/Blu-Ray, Firestick, laundry, air conditioning
  • Features NOT Available: dishwasher

  • Guests must be at least 25 years of age to make a booking
  • We require the names of all occupants and the ages of any children in compliance with a local by-law

    This homey duplex-ed century home is set back from the street and sits atop a bit of a knoll. The friendly host lives on the other side of the duplex and offers the large front yard and a covered veranda for the exclusive use of her guests.


    You'll enjoy lounging on the wicker furniture or grilling dinner on the propane BBQ while under the cover of the veranda, and a picnic table is set up on the nearby patio for outdoor dining. The large yard provides lots of space for the kids to romp, and Bloomfield Park with a playground is a short walk away. In the evening, everyone will take pleasure in gathering around the outdoor fire to enjoy some roasted marshmallows.


    Take a stroll into the village downtown where you'll find a variety of restaurants, cafes, tearooms, an ice cream shop, boutiques, artisan studios, antiques, and a public library. For groceries and other supplies, Picton is a less than 10 minutes away.


    While you're here, be sure to check out other attractions of Prince Edward County within a short drive of Bloomfield. Spend a day of tasting and discovery among the many wineries and restaurants, relax at one of the local beaches or spas, shop and browse in the boutiques, artisan and antique shops, play a round of golf, explore the 800 km of shoreline surrounding this island community, hike the Sandbanks trails, tour the County on bicycle, or check out the local farm markets and bakeries. Hilltop House is located across the street from Bloomfield Bicycle Company where you can rent bikes for your County cycle tour.
