Nestled in the trees on the edge of the charming village of Bloomfield, you'll find this delightful century home aptly named County Escape on Corey. This cottage accommodates a maximum of 6 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 9 and under (local by-law 4518-2019). Cleaning is included. Linens are NOT included but can be added for a fee. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SPACE AND AMENITIES:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: For your safety we suggest that all guests bring their own blankets and pillows for their own protection. We have also implemented a $25.00 COVID-19 disinfecting fee. 

  • Accommodates a maximum of 6 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 9 and under (local by-law 4518-2019)
  • CLEANING IS INCLUDED, however before checkout, ALL guests are expected to do their dishes, remove all food, take out the garbage/recycling, move items back to original spots, and to leave the cottage tidy
  • LINENS ARE NOT INCLUDED but can be added for a fee (sheets 20.00/set, towels 10.00/set)
  • Bath mats, kitchen linens, pillows & blankets are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, garbage/recycling bags, and BBQ propane are supplied
  • TWO beach passes are included for use during your stay
  • Guests are expected to bring their own personal supplies such as bath soap and shampoo
  • Drinking Water: The water supply is municipally treated so it should be safe for drinking
  • Features Available: Wi-Fi, TV/Blu-ray & Netflix, room air conditioning, dishwasher, laundry

    What could be better than a village retreat with Bloomfield shops, restaurants, and cafes only a few steps away? Even better yet, it's only a 10 minute drive to Sandbanks Provincial Park and less than 10 minutes to Picton where you'll find all your vacation supplies. Two beach passes are included in your rental! This central location is also ideal if you're planning to tour the local wineries and breweries or do some shopping at local artisan shops.


    This three-bedroom, country style home features an open concept and light-filled living room, dining area, and modern kitchen as well as a den, laundry area, and powder room on the main floor. Upstairs are three spacious bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the most distinctive features of this lovely home is the beautiful re-finished pine floors in most of the rooms. Outdoor space includes a shady backyard deck where you can dine alfresco or enjoy a refreshing beverage while watching the young at heart attempt a game of badminton or croquet. Perhaps you'd like to stretch out in the hammock for an afternoon nap. In the evening, you'll delight at watching the sun setting over the fields while roasting marshmallows around the backyard fire-pit.


    Only a few blocks away is the Bloomfield Mill Pond and the Bloomfield Park with a playground, outdoor theatre, and tennis courts with evening lighting. Take a stroll into the village downtown where you'll find a variety of restaurants, cafes, tearooms, an ice cream shop, boutiques, artisan studios, antiques, bicycle shop, and a public library. The Millennium Trail is easily accessible from Stanley Street where there's also a farm market with fresh local produce.


    Discover other attractions of Prince Edward County within a short drive of Bloomfield. Swim and relax at one of the local beaches, hike the Sandbanks and Millennium trails, tour the picturesque country roads on bicycle, check out the local farm markets and bakeries, spend a day of tasting and discovery among the many wineries and restaurants or shop and browse in the artisan and antique shops.

    Additional sleeping - one daybed in main level den can be converted to a king size bed (best to use two single sheets so that bed can be easily folded up during the day time)

    Spacious living room with leather sectional and comfortable lounge chairs.

    Board games and books are also provided for your entertainment.

    Sun filled den offers some quiet space as well as additional sleeping space on the single daybed. A barn style door pulls across to provide privacy.
