Bay Breeze Cottage sits on the shores of Adolphus Reach on the Bay of Quinte with a wonderful view of Prince Edward County. What a great place to get away and it’s a great spot for families and friends to gather! The outstanding feature is the large south-facing deck so perfect for outside entertaining and al-fresco dining. The 20’ dock is ideal for boats of any size and it’s also a great place to try your luck at fishing.

The Bay of Quinte is a popular spot for walleye and bass fishing and Bay Breeze Cottage offers private waterfront plus there are boat launches close by at Adolphustown Park and the Glenora Ferry. This is a great location for boating and fishing, and the local roads are ideal for cycling, too.

Other special features of this 3 bedroom cottage include hardwood flooring throughout, a wood pellet fireplace in the cozy living room, an open concept kitchen with island & breakfast bar, wireless Internet, and a beach pass for the Sandbanks.

Bay Breeze Cottage is located on the Loyalist Parkway which is a main thoroughfare between the Glenora Ferry crossing and Kingston - a few minutes east of Glenora Ferry and about 40 minutes west of Kingston. It's close to the UEL Heritage Centre, Historic Hay Bay Church, and the natural wonder of Lake-on-the-Mountain. Be sure to check out the other popular attractions of the Adolphustown area and Prince Edward County including the wineries and vineyards, the famous Sandbanks beaches, boutiques & artisan/antique shops, fine restaurants & pubs, golf courses, and local farm markets. Just east of the cottage is 33 Vines as well as Bergeron's Estate Winery which produces wine, cider, and excellent pizzas.

Waterfront

80' rocky beach and waterfront on Adolphus Reach, Bay of Quinte - great for fishing and boating but not ideal for swimming due to the weeds, especially after July

20' dock - available May 1 to mid-Oct. Fishermen - please note that water levels are typically lower in the fall.

NOTICE - Due to record high water levels, shorelines and docks have been compromised. The dock will not be available for the month of June and possibly July. Please contact our office for an update before your arrival.

Linens, Supplies & Cleaning

  • Toilet paper, paper towels, salt & pepper, dish detergent, propane, and garbage bags are supplied
  • Drinking Water – The water supply comes from a well, therefore Ontario water regulations require that you either purchase drinking water or boil it before using it for drinking.
  • Cleaning service is NOT included but can be provided for a fee ($65)
Policies
  • Maximum 7 persons; no more than 5 adults
  • No pets allowed however the owners have a dog that visits the property
  • No smoking inside
  • Check-in 4:00 pm; check-out 11:00 am
  • High Season (Jul-Aug): weekly rentals with Saturday check-in/check-out
  • Low Season: 2 night min, 3 night min for long weekends
  • Rates are tax exempt
  • $300 refundable security deposit required
