Be in harmony with nature while enjoying the contemporary architectural design of this funky two-bedroom retreat. This property accommodates a maximum of 4 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 17 and under. Cleaning and linens are included. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SPACE AND AMENITIES:

- LINENS & CLEANING ARE INCLUDED, however before checkout, ALL guests are expected to do their dishes, remove all food, take out the garbage/recycling, move items back to original spots, and to leave the cottage tidy
- Sheets, towels, bath mats, kitchen linens, pillows, & blankets are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
- New mattresses as of Autumn of 2021!
- Toilet paper, paper towels, salt & pepper, dish soap & dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, and BBQ propane are supplied
- ONE beach pass included for use during your stay
- Guests are expected to bring their own personal supplies such as bath soap and shampoo. A hairdryer is provided
- Drinking Water: The water supply comes from a well, therefore Ontario water regulations advise that you either purchase drinking water or boil it before using it for drinking.
- Features Included: Wi-Fi, TV/DVD, Netflix, central air, laundry, dishwasher, wood burning fireplace

- Sorry - no pets allowed, no exceptions
- No smoking inside (including vaping and all forms of recreational smoking)
- Waterfront, dock, boats, and fire-pit area are shared by all three of the 258 cottages
- Depending on water levels, the dock may or may not be in the water and shoreline may not be accessible
- 375’ natural wetlands shoreline (not ideal for swimming)
- 50’ x 6’ dock with 8’ x 10’ platform at end - available mid-May to mid-Oct
- 2 kayaks, 1 paddle board and 2 canoes for guest use; life-jackets provided
- Lounge chairs set up along the shoreline provide a great viewpoint of the local wildlife including swans & geese
- Shared fire-pit with chairs, near the water
- Boat launch nearby at Lion's Park in Cherry Valley

Nestled in a clearing in the woods, the views from the floor to ceiling windows and the expansive cedar deck at 258 Lakeview #5 are breathtaking! Located on East Lake and just minutes from the Sandbanks beaches, you will enjoy the ultimate vacation experience while staying at 258 Cottages.
Winding woodland walks and shoreline lounging make the cottages at 258 really special. East Lake is well known for great fishing and boating, and you're welcome to bring along your boat to moor at the dock. If you'd like to explore the lake, several canoes and kayaks are just waiting for you. This natural wetland shoreline is abundant with swans, geese, and other wildlife but the swimming is better at the nearby Sandbanks beaches, and a beach pass is provided for your convenience. In the winter, Sandbanks offers lots of scenic trails for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing enthusiasts, and it's a great place to go hiking at any time of year This cottage is open year-round and is as beautiful in winter as it is in the summer!
The cottages at 258 are set in the woods with plenty of space between the two cottages but please note that there are other homes and cottages within sight. Larger groups may be interested in also renting Lakeview #4 or East Lake #6.
While vacationing in Prince Edward County, why not tour the local wineries, spend the day at one of the local beaches or spas, shop and browse in the boutiques, artisan and antique shops, dine out at a fine restaurant or pub, play a round of golf, tour the County on bicycle, or check out the local farm markets. The local waterways provide opportunities for swimming, diving, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, & fishing or perhaps you'd like to explore the rich Loyalist heritage and discover why this is home to so many talented artists and photographers. And at the end of the day, you can look forward to returning to the comfort and peacefulness of your home away from home.
