Chapel Street Guest House (c. 1890) is located in the heart of downtown Picton. This charming home accommodates a maximum of 6 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 9 and under (local by-law 4518-2019). Cleaning is included, linens are NOT included but can be added for a fee. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SPACE AND AMENITIES:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: For your safety we suggest that all guests bring their own blankets and pillows for their own protection. We have also implemented a $25.00 COVID-19 disinfecting fee. 

  • Accommodates a maximum of 6 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 9 and under (local by-law 4518-2019)
  • CLEANING IS INCLUDED, however before checkout, ALL guests are expected to do their dishes, remove all food, take out the garbage/recycling, move items back to original spots, and to leave the house tidy
  • LINENS ARE NOT INCLUDED but can be added for a fee (sheets 18.00/set, towels 9.00/set)
  • Bath mats, kitchen linens, pillows, and blankets are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, garbage/recycling bags, and BBQ propane are supplied
  • TWO beach passes are included for use during your stay
  • Guests are expected to bring their own personal supplies such as bath soap and shampoo
  • Drinking Water: The water is municipally treated so should be safe for drinking
  • Features Available: Unlimited Wi-Fi internet, TV/DVD, Netflix, central air, laundry, dishwasher, two electric fireplaces

    Chapel Street Guest House is a 1890's 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Victorian home located in historic downtown Picton, in the heart of Prince Edward County. Situated halfway between Toronto and Ottawa, it's a perfect spot for family get-togethers, vacations, meetings, retreats away from the office, or a home base for your Prince Edward County adventures. The 'Guest House' is no more than 20 minutes from all popular destinations in 'The County' including the Sandbanks Provincial Park and two beach passes are provided with your rental. 


    This century home is full of character and recent updates have retained many of the period details that make this home unique. On either side of the central front entrance are the spacious living and dining rooms, and during the cooler weather guests will enjoy the warmth of the electric fireplaces. The first floor also offers a 'relaxation' room, a modern kitchen with a breakfast bar, a two-piece bathroom, and a laundry area with stackable washer & dryer. The second level consists of three large bedrooms, a landing area with a single bed for additional sleeping options, and a 4 piece semi-ensuite bathroom with jet tub.


    Dine alfresco on the private 'Tuscan-style' courtyard patio behind the house, and grill to your heart's content with the propane BBQ. Lounge in the comfy outdoor furniture on the front veranda while enjoying the picturesque view of the United Church and the iconic Manse Boutique Inn. Both of these outdoor areas are great spots for sipping your morning coffee, afternoon wine or catching up with a good book. 


    Downtown Picton is only a short stroll away where you'll enjoy restaurants, cafés, museums, public library, park, bookstore, banks, artist studios & galleries, several shops & boutiques, and the historic Regent Theatre for live entertainment and movies. In the evening, why not take a stroll to the Picton Harbour to view the many boats, and the kids will want to check out the skateboard park and splash pad at the fairgrounds.


    You can also take advantage of the wonderful scenery, country roads, sand dunes, beaches, golf courses, fishing, festivals and farm markets that the County offers. Enjoy a day of tasting and discovery at local wineries, craft breweries, and fine dining establishments. Visit the museums, theatre, art galleries, artisans, and antique shops that abound in this popular vacation area.

    Contemporary, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar & stools. Kitchen includes fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, Keurig coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, pots/pans, cutlery & cooking utensils.

    Dining room is located next to kitchen and features a custom wood slab table, electric fireplace, and French door from the main hallway. Table seats up to 8 comfortably.

    Living Room

    Comfortable living room with large sectional sofa and bucket chairs, 50" flat screen TV with DVD player and Netflix. Classic French doors look into the 'relaxation' room with a second electric fireplace.

    Other Rooms

    Relaxation room - Cozy room with sofa and electric fireplace - next to the living room. A perfect area to do some quiet reading, meditation or yoga!
