Domaker Farmhouse has lots of old fashioned charm and personality, and it's located in a quiet area just west of Milford. This cottage accommodates a maximum of 6 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 9 and under (local by-law 4518-2019). Cleaning and linens are included. This three-bedroom air-conditioned farmhouse is perfect for gatherings of family and friends with lots of space both indoors and out, and your pet will love it here too. Relax and play on the shaded lawn, chill out under the shade of the veranda, grill a summer feast on the BBQ, take a stroll down the farm laneway, and watch the sun setting over the fields. You'll be charmed by the original tin ceilings, old fashioned kitchen stove, painted pine floors, and covered verandas. You'll also be glad to know that the town of Picton is conveniently close by where you can find groceries and all the basic supplies you'll need for your vacation. If you're planning to spend some time at the Sandbanks Provincial Park, you'll be glad to know that it's only 15 minutes away, and one beach pass is included with your rental.
Take a drive or walk into nearby Milford where you'll find a general store, a bistro, a library, a water dam and millpond, and the Mount Tabor Playhouse. If you're looking for more adventure, why not visit Little Bluff Conservation Area, Mariners Park Museum, Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory, Black River Cheese Company, Sandbanks Provincial Park, wineries, museums, and a multitude of other Prince Edward County attractions within 15 to 20 minutes of the farmhouse. Enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside, tour the local roads on your bicycle, buy fresh produce at the farm markets, browse the local boutiques and art galleries, try your luck at fishing, take a cooking class, and stop for lunch at one of the many roadside pubs and cafes. There is a lot to see and do in the quaint island community of Prince Edward County
